This ain't plastic. It's paper::
This makes me laugh everytime I see it, sums up affordable luxury perfectly no? 'fake it til you make it' is rather 'make it and fake it' here.
Sweater. Girl::
I'm really drawn to this kind of retro styling at the moment, I wish I could pull off the 50's housewife look without feeling like a complete fool. Grace Coddington for sure, has been one of my all time favourite inspirations when it comes to styling and art direction and after seeing her in The September Issue, she is probably one of my all time favourite females in fashion too. This editorial makes me want to dig out my thick knits and dive whole heartedly into my winter wardrobe (which is a big thing for me as I am the ultimate sun worshipper! Although if I had Lara Stones figure I would definitely feel less of a frump in chunky knits))

Casette Playa::
I've been researching possible dissertation topics for the dreaded 15 minute back-to-uni presentation and came across this footage of the first ever live augmented reality fashion show by Casette Playa, who I saw at LFW just last week. To be completely honest I don't really know what to think of it. The concept itself is pretty amazing and will obviously become more and more encorporated into our overall retail and shopping experiences but this is just abit mental. Or is that just because we'r enot used to it yet?!?!

Abbey. Lee. Kershaw::
Tomorrow marks my first day working at London Fashion Week and Abbey is just one of many peeps I'll be looking out for. Over the last few days at BFC HQ loads of models have been coming and going from Somerset House for castings and I've become slightly accustomed to spotting and conspiring the next big name on the catwalk.
So watch this space for some exciting LFW posts.
Peace out.

looky. HERE::
See my last post to realise my excitement when I saw this jacket in h&m the other week. It's similar enough for my liking AND only £14.99! After a lengthy browse I found soooo much I need to buy and yet no student loan means no ridiculously unsupervised shopping splurges :( for now at least.
To add to this H&M goes online TODAY......(adding insult to injury I hasten to add) I want almost every cushion from their home department, I can't wait for a healthy bank balance once more.......
