Orange tones are cropping up all over the place and this shoot in particular grabbed my attention for the beautiful paleness of it. Ellery S/S 2011.

Finally got to wear my new hat today and I loved every second (apart from when the wind almost swiped it) its so warm and cosy and I do like to have something to hide under at the moment.

I love the colours in this outfit I would never really have thought about putting these colours together before but I'm feeling more and more experimental these days, I think it might be because I am getting more and more mental as my dissertation takes over my life in every department.

Found this pic while I was meant to be writing the dreaded dissi funnily enough, on a lovely blog called cheyennemeetschanel.com, absolutely love her taste and definitely be checking back on her.

FIREWORK::

If you've got a case of body envy just from seeing the title of this clip I suggest you look away now. Its a cute tribute from the models to Katy Perry though who sang 'Firework' at the Victoria's Secret Show last week.

Blah.Blah.Blah::

Third year has dramatically taken its toll on my blogging I've got 3 weeks to write 7000 words for my dissertation EEEK. I'm using Tumblr and Twitter wayyyyy more now because the instant gratification of it being on my phone and at my fingertips is much more appealing.

Hope to get back to this baby soon though with bigger and better posts

In the mean time follow me on Twitter here or Tumblr here

How cute is this Dior ring, I think it would be adorable if someone proposed with this...you would just have to say 'oui' !!

Kate Moss stars in this 3D film created by Baillie Walsh with AnOther Magazine. It continues from their legendary holographic film first shown at Alexander McQueen's A/W 2006 show. Three words that crop up here are experimental, multi-dimensional, image-making and I'm liking it a lot.

You can get free 3D glasses with the current issue of AnOther too.

Here's a sneak peek of the much anticipated collection courtesy of style.com, don't know about you but I'm feeling the dark chic look now the long dark nights have drawn in.

I want this hair............

This ain't plastic. It's paper::

This makes me laugh everytime I see it, sums up affordable luxury perfectly no? 'fake it til you make it' is rather 'make it and fake it' here.

Sweater. Girl::

I'm really drawn to this kind of retro styling at the moment, I wish I could pull off the 50's housewife look without feeling like a complete fool. Grace Coddington for sure, has been one of my all time favourite inspirations when it comes to styling and art direction and after seeing her in The September Issue, she is probably one of my all time favourite females in fashion too. This editorial makes me want to dig out my thick knits and dive whole heartedly into my winter wardrobe (which is a big thing for me as I am the ultimate sun worshipper! Although if I had Lara Stones figure I would definitely feel less of a frump in chunky knits))

AUGMENTED. reality::

Wowwwww I'm imagining all sorts of previously impossible situations!

Casette Playa::

I've been researching possible dissertation topics for the dreaded 15 minute back-to-uni presentation and came across this footage of the first ever live augmented reality fashion show by Casette Playa, who I saw at LFW just last week. To be completely honest I don't really know what to think of it. The concept itself is pretty amazing and will obviously become more and more encorporated into our overall retail and shopping experiences but this is just abit mental. Or is that just because we'r enot used to it yet?!?!
