Another shoot from our launch issue of Quarter zine, the thing I love most is the vibrancy of the colours and the atmosphere created in the photography.

I went into this show with high expectations and I definitely wasn't disappointed. I have to say I was pretty impressed with all the collections as a whole but in particular I loved Sophie Hudspith's collection purely becuase I could wear all that stuff straight off the catwalk.
Sorry about the poor quality of images I wasn't expecting to have time to go to any shows so all I had on me was my trusty blackberry, not too bad though considering.

We had so much fun setting up and doing this shoot (I think its pretty obvious). Its in the style of our launch issue which is based on summer and all the things we love about it.

I'm on the hunt for shoot inspiration and this one, inspired by the Coachella Music Festival hits the mark. I love natural(ish) looking shoots that could almost be like the photos you upload of you and your friends on facebook. I think thats why I love the wildfox shoots so much too.

I was at Graduate Fashion Week yesterday working on the NTU stand which was all very exciting, but the highlight has to be my brief chat with Susie from Style Bubble and getting sneaked into the Kingston Uni show for free by thegirlwiththechanelnecklace. Got a pretty good seat too which enabled me to get some half decent pics on my trusty berry, which I'll be uploading onto here very soon so watch this space...

Love how clean and innocent this editorial is, its the freshest I've seen for a while. Seeing as I'm off uni for the summer now I want to make the most of my time and put a few shoots together and I'll definitely be taking inspiration from here.

Wow just came across this editorial from German Vogue June 2009, saw the model and thought 'jeez she's beautiful' then realised it was none other than Heidi Klum. I think she looks absolutely stunning with dark hair and more pronounced eyebrows. Maybe she should come over to the dark side?

Take A PEEK::

This is where I've been spending much of my time lately for a uni project. We are creating, designing, editing, publishing etc etc for a zine called Quarter...... and all the research behind it can be found here.

KARL-A-COLA

Photobucket
Oh how I wish I had the time and money to be able to hop over the channel and pay the beloved Parie a visit. Whilst I was last there I went into Colette no less than 3 times in 6 days, and there was new and exciting goodies on every visit. My current want is this coca-cola bottle from Karl Lagerfeld's collaboration. It would look lovely on my shelf at home.....any excuse really.

Mossy's new collection::

Only a few days to wait til we can feast our paws on Mossy's new collection for Topshop. It's all very pretty and girly and just what I'm after for summer. I've probably been spending farrrrr too much time with Topshop lately but.....oh well it makes me happy!
I persoanlly can NOT wait to get my mitts on the floral maxi dress with heightened front hem, I've seen a few like this around the blogosphere lately and am predicting that all the other high streeters will probably jump on the bandwagon and copy this style.
Have a peek at the video below too, I just can't get enough of this reminiscent feeling thats pretty much everywhere right now.

I know these glasses are old news now but I really really need them in my life. I think they would match so well with my newly highlighted hair and I would just wear them always. Any tips about how I might just stumble across a pair of these would be overwhelmingly appreciated.

Ooooops but HELLO::

WHOOOAAA!! there's definitely been some blog neglect going on around here due to being 'otherwise engaged' recently.

But to start off with a bang I'd like to announce that this little blog, got published in StyleSample magazine a few months back. It was all so very exciting too-ing and fro-ing information with Kirsty B from Fashion Champagne , who was editor of my little piece. Have a look at the magazine for yourselves on the link above and below is my small piece de la resistance (p.s. don't laugh at my reflective combats I'm sure there's MUCH worse fashion faux paus around, care to share yours?).
